Hello!

About Inner Art Peace

My name is Kimberly and I am the owner and artist of Inner Art Peace. I am mother to 3 awesome human beings and Kiki (grandma) to 1. I strive to be a vegetarian/vegan. I have a house full of rescue pets. I create inspirational, motivational art pieces. I am inspired by nature, colors and being human.

Inner Art Peace was an idea that my artist sister and I came up with.  I wanted to come up with a name that embodied positive living.  We brainstormed and finally came up with the clever Inner Art Peace (a pun on Inner Peace & Art Piece).  I wanted to have a company that produced artful items that were inspirational and motivational.  I, myself, enjoy affirmations, so I decided to put these affirmations into concrete (ceramic) form to be reminders.  I started out small and entered into a few craft shows, then decided to build my own website and concentrate of a few art shows a year.
Each art piece is hand-crafted using the finest clays, fired in a kiln, glazed in a variety of colors, and fired again. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. My Pocket Stones have been used for gifts, reminders, good luck charms, tokens and more!  I have had customers use my Pocket Stones or Word Tiles as remembrances of someone who has passed away.  Most of the stones have flat backs and I can add a magnet or the stone can be used in jewelry-making.

My husband Terry is an awesome potter who makes a multitude of different pieces of pottery that are hand-thrown on a pottery wheel. His work can be viewed on the TC Pottery Studio page. We also do a lot of collaborations for many unique fun, functional pieces.

I am constantly challenging myself and my family to make beautiful, thoughtful, unique works of art in many different mediums. A lot of our work is constantly being added to our shows and this website.  If you don't see what you are looking for, I offer a variety of pieces. I will work with you to create your own vision.

I have also been in love with painting and mixed media for my whole life. I am especially obsessed with SUNFLOWERS! I have created and continue to create various paintings reflecting that passion. SUNFLOWERS are seen as a sign of hope and warmth, positivity and strength, strong bonds and lasting happiness - always looking for light.
